One thing that really pisses me off is people who kill or torture animals and feel the need to tell me. Most especially snakes.

Snakes are one of the most important and beautiful animals in the world. The fuck would someone go out into their habitat and slaughter them? It's a depraved, sick thing to do. A friend of mine mentioned he saw one and shot it with an air rifle, then hacked it to pieces alive. It makes me want to vomit.

If you're going to murder an animal in its home, at least blow its brains the fuck out. Don't be a dick and torture it with the BB gun your mommy got you and your grandma's garden hoe like that.

Like I said, it makes me want to vomit.

I've got a new journal now. The last one was nearly 4 years old, and I feel like a new journal will better reflect my thoughts better than one where my old entries almost seemed to be dragging them into the deep dark crypts of 2004. I doubt I'll post very often, but I figured it'd be fun to have something new anyway.

I am moving to New England or New York next season with my mother if I can, and will be going to college in 2009. Since I was laid off from Wyndham Vacation Resorts, I've been unemployed and looking hard for a job. I have applied at over 50 different businesses with no consideration. If anyone knows where I can get a job paying at least $250 a week within about ten miles of Johnson City, I would appreciate info. I am very serious. I need work.

In December I got to visit Maine. Portland is a beautiful city and I believe it has a lot more opportunity than where I live, and it'd be just the cat's pajamas if I could go to college there and work there. I'll also be closer to my girlfriend of 3 years, Ivy.

Before I was able to leave, my cat Snowball died. He was one of my best friends and my first pet, who I had since I was a young child. He was diabetic as a result of a brain tumor, and required daily insulin injections. Until the end he was beautiful and the best cat I could have ever had. RIP Snowball.

I have another cat (a manx) who was his companion since last summer, and because of how little he is, he was named Pipsqueak. I also still have my dachshund Spot.

I think that's most of everything.

How have you all been?
